It’s almost Thanksgiving, traditionally a time for expressing gratitude – though I was rather amused by a quote a friend shared on Facebook that said “Black Friday: Because only in America, people trample others for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have.” Sounds about right, heh heh. I’ve never been a fan of it, myself, and my family and I actually make a point of not shopping on that day. But I digress.
This month I’ve been taking part in a daily gratitude project. I’ve been putting up a Tweet each day expressing what I’m thankful for in that moment. It’s fun! If you’d like to get in on it, all you need to do is post a Tweet and include “#gratitudes” in the text. If you’d like to connect on Twitter, I’m @NStarcatShields.
In the meantime, here are some links for you to enjoy as you begin the new week. Happy Thanksgiving!
